Jimmy Carter Blvd./I-85 Interchange Landscaping
One of the Gwinnett Village CID's first initiatives was to give the community a "makeover" by landscaping the interchanges at Jimmy Carter Boulevard, Indian Trail Road and Beaver Ruin Road at I-85. More than 300,000 vehicles drive through these gateways on a daily basis and the CID felt that making an impact on such a large number of commuters was well worth the investment.

Beaver Ruin Rd. Landscaped Medians
The CID, in partnership with the Gwinnett County Department of transportation, constructed landscaped medians along Beaver Ruin Road between Buford Highway and I-85. These improvements provide enhanced safety for pedestrians and vehicular traffic while greatly improving the aesthetics in the area.

Center Way Overpass Landscaping
As an extension to the landscaping of the Jimmy Carter Blvd., Indian Trail Rd., and Beaver Ruin Rd. interchanges, the CID decided in 2011 to complete the corridor by landscaping the areas around the overpass at Center Way and I-85. The funding for this project was provided by the CID and the Georgia Department of Transportation.
