In coordination with the Gwinnett County Police Department Westside Precinct, Gateway85 CID has partnered with FLOCK Safety to install 10 cameras throughout the district as a pilot project. The cameras are located strategically throughout the district based on Gwinnett Police Department commercial area crime analysis reports. Recently, one camera located near an open space captured images showing that it was being used as a public dumping site. The pictures were used to identify the culprit participating in illegal dumping, which subsequently lead to a substantial fine and clean-up.
