The Gwinnett Village Community Improvement District (CID) works to plan for long term success of our entire area. One of the area’s most critical arteries is
Indian Trail-Lilburn Road. The vitality of our community is interconnected; for the entire area to flourish our major corridors have to be major drivers in that economic vitality.
Earlier this year the CID was awarded grant funding from the Atlanta Regional commission to update the Livable Centers Initiative (LCI) plan. This 10 year update will offer a fresh look at the corridor with a look at new projects and initiatives based upon current market conditions. The CID seeks to build upon existing plans and projects, and explore how to create a sense of place along the corridor through the creation of streetscaping guidelines.
We know and love this area, but we need help from individuals who live and/or work in the area as well. We want to hear from you as we go through the process. We’ll be interviewing people along the corridor to get their feedback, but you are more than welcome to submit your thoughts by reaching out to us.
We’ll also be hosting a series of public meetings where we can go over the project in detail and spend time discussing the future together. We are planning on holding meetings in October, January and March (please check back for specific dates and locations for these events).

As a part of the LCI process, the CID has organized a group of core stakeholders from along the corridor to review and discuss materials associated with the study.
