Gateway85 is moving forward with recommendations from its Jimmy Carter Boulevard Livable Centers Initiative to address the heavy congestion and safety concerns along this critical corridor by improving the intersection of Singleton Road and Jimmy Carter Boulevard. Additional turning lanes, crosswalks and sidewalks will go a long way toward increasing safety and mobility along this heavily traveled corridor. As part of the plans, refinement process along with working with our local businesses, we have removed an additional right lane turn northbound onto Jimmy Carter Boulevard from westbound Singleton Road to minimize local property impacts. The project was completed in 2013.
