REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL

To whom it may concern:

We are corresponding to request a proposal for audit services for the fiscal year 2016. This audit should be comprehensive in scope and should be in accordance with the accounting principles generally accepted in the United States and GAAF (Government Accounting, Auditing and Financial Reporting).

The audit is for a one year period and should detail and test accordingly in scope, safety, and security. The audit firm shall present a checklist to the executive director in advance of the site visit so staff has adequate time to prepare schedules and documentation for auditor’s review.  The audit firm shall be required to complete the IRS Form 990.

The year-end should include a complete audit of the Gwinnett Village Community Improvement District and any and all of its subsidiaries including SPLOST and grants.

We ask that you respond by 24 February 2017 so that we may make our selection and request Board approval at the March Board meeting.  This will enable us to proceed about the business of the Gwinnett Village Community Improvement District regarding its financial position.  In your response, please indicate your previous experience with CIDs or non-profit organizations and a schedule for when you would anticipate conducting the audit if you received a notice to proceed no later than the 10th of March 2017. If there is a difference in the fee by scheduling the audit after the 15th of April, please indicate this in your proposal letter.

Thank you in advance for your assistance in this matter.

Sincerely,

Marsha Anderson Bomar

Executive Director
