Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child Needs Warehouse Space

Samaritan’s Purse needs our district’s help! Operation Christmas Child is the world’s largest Christmas project reaching more than 10 million children living in more than 100 countries.  The organization collects gift-filled shoeboxes from across the country and processes them through regional warehouses to prepare for overseas shipment. An Atlanta warehouse processed 1.5 million shoebox gifts last year.

Samaritan’s Purse’s warehouse needs are:

  • Located in Gwinnett County or DeKalb County (including Stone Mountain)
  • Occupancy starting September 1 through either January or February (6-month use)
  • 80,000+ square feet
  • 6+ dock doors
  • Office space approximately 1,500-2,000 sq. ft. (can work around this if the warehouse has no office space)
  • As much parking as possible (or off-site parking options nearby)

The warehouse would be in use six days a week starting the week of Thanksgiving until December 20. Please contact Phil Barks if you are able to assist with warehouse space.
