The CID is working on a Pedestrian Lighting District along the Jimmy Carter Boulevard corridor. Both streetlights and pedestrian lights will be installed along the corridor from Rockbridge Road to Buford Highway. A map of the lighting district is below.
Phase I of the Lighting District has been completed along Jimmy Carter Boulevard, including 34 pedestrian lights and 26 streetlights stretching from Brook Hollow Parkway to Live Oak Parkway.
Phase II from Live Oak Parkway to Rockbridge Road, is currently being installed. Phase II includes 26 pedestrian lights and five streetlights.
